The Hand Cleanser is a gel, liquid or foam that kills the majority of viruses, germs, and microorganisms found on the hands. Alcohol based hand cleansers are preferred over soap and water in most healthcare situations because they are easier to embrace and more effective in decreasing germs. Isopropyl alcohol, ethanol, or n-propanol are commonly used in alcohol based formulations, with variants with 60 percent to 95 percent alcohol being the most effective. Hand sanitizer with alcohol is effective against a wide range of germs. Overall, in most instances Hand Cleanser is more convenient than hand washing with soap and water.
